Prototype 1893 Shotgun. This gun has all the hallmarks of a John Browning prototype and shows a distinct similarity to Winchester's Model 1893. A couple of changes, most notably a smaller forend and a rotating bolt with external locking bar. It's not clear if this design predates the 1893 or was a reaction to the issues Winchester experienced once the 1893 went to market.









Если я правильно понимаю, что запирание происходило поворотом затвора одним массивным боевым упором за ствольную коробку. Любопытное решение. Только я бы ствольную коробку сделал бы цельной. Хотя довольно не технологичный вариант. =)
